Estetika Aktivisme Digital: Konstruksi Budaya Protes Melalui Platform Media Sosial Kontemporer

Perkembangan media sosial telah mengubah secara fundamental praktik aktivisme kontemporer, terutama melalui pemanfaatan estetika digital sebagai medium utama ekspresi politik. Aktivisme digital tidak hanya mengandalkan argumen rasional dan struktur organisasi formal, tetapi juga visual, narasi singkat, simbol, dan format kreatif yang menyesuaikan dengan karakteristik platform. Kondisi ini menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai peran estetika dalam membentuk budaya gerakan serta dinamika relasinya dengan logika algoritmik dan ekonomi platform media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis estetika aktivisme digital sebagai praktik kultural dan politik dalam konteks media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif-analitis. Data diperoleh melalui studi literatur kritis dan analisis konseptual terhadap kajian mutakhir mengenai aktivisme digital, budaya gerakan (movement culture), dan platformisasi media. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik dan interpretatif untuk mengidentifikasi pola relasi antara estetika, identitas kolektif, partisipasi, dan struktur platform. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa estetika aktivisme digital berperan penting dalam konstruksi makna, pembentukan identitas kolektif, serta penguatan partisipasi dan solidaritas di ruang digital. Namun, estetika tersebut juga menghadapi paradoks akibat dominasi logika platform, seperti komodifikasi konten, penyederhanaan pesan politik, serta kerentanan terhadap kontrol algoritmik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan estetika digital yang lebih reflektif dan kritis agar strategi visibilitas tidak mengaburkan tujuan politik dan keberlanjutan gerakan sosial.
